This 56 is in great condition and has great history, the current owners have owned the car for the last 10 years and have decided it's time for someone else to enjoy her as it doesn't get used alot anymore, since owning they have added power steer, front disc brakes and the impressive 383ci V8 which has been dyno tuned at 315hp at the rear wheels (dyno sheets come with the car)
The 56 featured in NZ Hot Rod magazines July 2015 edition, a copy comes with the car and is a great read. A pile of documentation comes with the car including import/compliance papers etc.
The interior is very tidy, the front bucket and rear bench seats have no rips or tears, the bucket seats are very comfortable, power steer makes this 56 very easy to drive.
The 56 had new floors when imported into NZ in 2008, the underbody is in great condition, the cream paint was applied in NZ and is in great condition, the green was applied in the US and is showing signs of wear, a professional cut will eliminate most of this, there are a couple of minor rust bubbles showing on both doors and on a sill, photos of these can be emailed though to any perspective buyer.
Overall this is a very tidy 56 coupe which are getting very hard to find, we have priced very sharp, i don't think you could import one put a 383ci, power steer, disc brakes, certify and comply for this price and of course no headaches with the process.
